Cancellation & Refunds

1. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your ProLayer subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting our support team at support@prolayer.io.
Upon cancellation: • Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period • You will not be charged for the next billing period • Your API keys will remain functional until the end of the billing period • After the billing period ends, your account will be downgraded to a limited free tier • You can reactivate your subscription at any time
To cancel, navigate to Dashboard → Billing → Subscription and click "Cancel Subscription", or contact our support team.
2. Refund Policy
**Subscription Refunds:** • Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law • If you cancel within the first 7 days of your initial subscription and have used fewer than 100 credits, you may request a full refund • Prorated refunds are not available for partial billing periods • Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after the first 14 days
**Credit Pack Refunds:** • Purchased credit packs are non-refundable once credits have been used • Unused credit packs purchased within the last 30 days may be eligible for a refund on a case-by-case basis • Credits expire 12 months after purchase regardless of refund eligibility
**Service Outage Credits:** • If you experience a service outage exceeding the SLA guaranteed for your plan, you may be eligible for service credits • Service credits are applied to your next billing cycle and are not provided as monetary refunds • To request service credits, contact support within 30 days of the outage
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
1. Contact our support team at support@prolayer.io 2. Include your account email and the reason for the refund request 3. Allow up to 5 business days for us to review your request 4. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days
We reserve the right to deny refund requests that do not meet the criteria outlined above.
4. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider, you must:
1. Contact our support team at support@prolayer.io 2. Allow at least 48 hours for us to investigate and respond
Chargebacks initiated without first contacting our support team may result in: • Immediate suspension of your account • Forfeiture of any remaining credits • Restriction from creating new accounts
We believe in fair resolution and will work with you to address any billing concerns. Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer rights.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cancellation & Refunds policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and posted on our website.
Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
